Psalm 75:1-8. God says he will act at the set time and will judge with equity. When the earth totters, and all its inhabitants, it is God who steadies its pillars. He warns the boastful and the wicked, because reward and punishment will not come from any man or nation, but from God. He has a foaming cup of poisoned wine and the wicked will drink it dry.

The earth and its inhabitants are tottering right now! It is good to have this reminder that God will steady us. We are all looking around for someone to help, and their really is no one on the world stage who we can trust right now. This is exactly the point. "For not from the the east or from the west and not from the wilderness comes lifting up; but it is God who executes judgment."

The whole world is learning that men cannot be relied upon to save us. They are all fallen, just as we are, and the problems and the temptations are too great. We need divine assistance, but first we need to recognize that we need divine assistance. Many do recognize this, but still many do not, so this uncertainty will continue. Eventually, every nation on earth will adore him. We just are not there yet, so we have to get through it.

And don't worry about all the evil we see growing and strengthening all around us. God sees it too, he knows it. He will pour out the cup of poison wine at the set time and anyone who, at that time, has not yet realized their need for him and is still pursuing selfish and evil ways, will drink it greedily and thus be punished. Remember, those who are in hell are there because they chose it. It is up to us not to choose it.
