2 Chronicles 2:1-7. Solomon is preparing to begin building the Temple. He is so filled with the Spirit! He says "The house which I am to build will be great, for our God is greater than all gods." But he is also humble: "But who is able to build him a house, since heaven, even highest heaven, cannot contain him?"

This is the paradox I feel when I am praising Him. I feel so good, so wonderful and I want to do things for Him! I want to do everything for him! Yet and yet everything I do is so worthless, really. Who am I? I am no one, and my feeble attempts are at worship are really nothing. Yet He makes something of them, for me and for others. The joy I feel when doing something right for Him is a gift. My praise and worship of Him bounces back to me!
