Acts 2:37-38. When the people listening to Peter hear about Jesus rising from the dead and realize their guilt in having Him crucified, they are cut to the heart and ask Peter and the apostles what they should do. Peter answers "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit."

I am so eager for people to get to this stage right now! People need to wake up and realize what they've done or have allowed to happen. Abortion is the most obvious issue, but there are others, too, where Catholics are participating in true evil and do not even see it. I keep trying to gently show them or talk to them, but it never goes well, they are defensive and angry and hurtful.

I have come to understand that this awakening is the work of the Holy Spirit. When the time is right, as it was at the first Pentecost, the Spirit will inspire those He wants to speak truth to the people and they will be heard. It won't happen before it is time. And it is not up to me (at least not right now). I just have to pray for everyone and look to myself. I have to resist my own temptations, guard my soul as best as possible, and keep living my life in the best way I can. If anyone comes to me to talk, I can certainly speak to them, but I should not, right now, seek to educate anyone. The time is not right!
