Psalm 34:16 "The face of the Lord is against evildoers, to cut off remembrance of them from the earth."

There is so much evil going on in our world right now, much more than is being acknowledged and spoken of. In fact, the people being blamed and imprisoned, or worse, for the evil are often guilty of nothing more than seeking to expose or speak out against the actual evil. We are living in Bizarro World, where what is clearly wrong is sold as right, where evil seems to be rewarded and the just punished.

But we know we have God's promises, like this one. He alone knows all the evil that has happened, is happening, or is planned, and He promises that His face is set against it. His time is not our time, so while it might seem far from true that remembrance of the evildoers is being cut off from the earth, we simply must be patient, stay faithful, and pray for the entire world, including the evildoers. Any delay we sense in His justice is really His mercy allowing more and more of the even the hardest of hearts to convert and be saved. Our prayers can help in this task, so rather than get angry or despairing, we should just pray for His will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
