Sirach 38:1-2. "Honor the physician with the honor due him, according to your need of him, for the Lord created him; for healing comes from the Most High, and he will receive a gift from the king."

All my life I held doctors in very high esteem. I trusted them and gave them a tremendous amount of respect. That changed a lot during COVID. I do still trust some doctors, and the ones I trust I give tremendous honor and respect to, even more than I did before. The ones I respect are the ones who tried to warn us; who spoke up against everyone having to take the "vaccine"; who saw the absurdity in some of the things that were being done to us; who lost their jobs, licenses, and hospital privileges in order to try to find and speak the truth. Those are the doctors deserving of honor.

Yes, the Lord gives certain gifts to all, and healers have a tremendous gift from the Lord. They are deserving of honor when they use that gift well. But when they abandon their common sense and allow themselves to be lied to, and when they abandon their patients in service of government and corporate mandates or pressure, then they do not deserve much honor at all. Sirach only tells us to "honor the physician with the honor due him". Certainly abortion doctors and doctors performing gender mutilation surgery on children are not worthy of honor. Likewise, the doctors who toed the government and big pharma lines during COVID are not due much honor, in my opinion. (And the general medical responses to abortion, gender surgery, and COVID all spring from the same source - government and corporate greed. All of these things make tremendous amounts of money at the expense of the well-being, and even lives, of actual people. The framing of the official responses to them as "good" is a tool of evil that gets otherwise good people to go along. It is time for individuals to stand up for what they know is right, even if they have to pay a mighty cost.)

Sirach also tells us to honor our physicians according to our need of them. None of us needs pressure and derision from our health care workers. I tended to try to avoid them at all costs during COVID, and I'm glad I did. The few times I had to speak to one, I got nothing but pressure to take an experimental gene therapy, and they would not even deign to discuss my reasonable questions about it.

The doctors who tried to help humanity over the last few years will indeed get a gift from God. The ones who caused more harm than good will also get what is due to them. I have been and continue to pray that they all wake up and repent, so they can all go back to being worthy of honor, and we can go back to trusting them.
