Amos 4:6. "'I gave you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and lack of bread and all your places, yet you did not return to me,' says the Lord."

I feel God's exasperation here! He has so deprived his children of His blessings that they have no food, yet they still refuse to turn to Him! Yesterday, Ohio passed a constitutional amendment enshrining abortion rights in their state constitution. Democrats are now promising to run on this issue in every state in the future, they see a guaranteed winning issue for them in abortion (and they are probably right!).

Given everything that has been going on in our country and in the world, it is abundantly clear that God is withdrawing His blessings and protection from us, yet still we refuse to turn to Him. Instead, we double and triple down on the culture of death and destruction. I cannot imagine how God can be so patient with us. My patience would have run out years ago!
