Nehemiah 4:10-14. The defensive wall of Jerusalem cannot be rebuilt quickly enough. "The strength of the burden-bearers is failing." Jews from the outer regions have come into Jerusalem warning of this - that their enemies are plotting against them while their defenses are weak. So they station people with swords, spears, and bows to protect the wall and the city from a coming attack. And the defenders are told "Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes."
I have blogged this passage before in Your Strength May Be Failing But Be Not Afraid. I think, right now, our burden-bearers are very weary. They also cannot finish rebuilding our defenses in time. We have grown complacent while being under steady stealth attack for too long. We did not realize that our walls are crumbling. Now, many have noticed, and are trying to rebuild, but they do grow weary, they cannot finish in time. So it is time for the rest of us, all of us, to man the low and weak spots of the walls, and be ready to fight. We, too, should not be afraid. We must remember who our God is.
