Psalm 50:16 "But to the wicked God says: 'What right have you to recite my statutes or take my covenant on your lips?'"
I find nothing so annoying as a hypocrite. People who loudly and publicly profess to be loving, caring, and tolerant are often the most hateful and prejudiced. They just save their hatred and prejudice for groups they don't deem worthy of their love and compassion. They often quote God's statutes (or put them on yard signs, to proclaim to the world their virtue while they do other things). "Love your neighbor", they tell us, while they do not give a second thought to all the "neighbors" they distain.
God sees these people, though, and He wants to save them, Christ died to save them. So rather than allowing ourselves to be triggered by them, we should try to help them see the error of their ways as gently and lovingly as possible. If that doesn't work (and it hasn't been, to be honest), the best thing we can do is pray for them and leave them to God.
God will grant the wicked and hypocritical grace when they are ready to receive it. If they are never willing to accept His grace, He will one day ask them what right they thought they had to recite His statutes or profess His covenant when they themselves rejected both.
