Isaiah 13:14. "Like cattle that go down into the valley, the Spirit of the Lord gave them rest. So thou didst lead thy people, to make for thyself a glorious name."

This line is so peaceful to me! It makes me want to be a cow being led to rest in the valley! Why am I not? I yearn for this kind of rest, but I can't seem to find it in a world that has gone mad. But maybe I would find it if I really did just let Him lead me and stopped trying to think so much.

This is, essentially, the Surrender Novena - I confuse myself by worrying, when all that He wants from me is complete surrender "and everything will be peaceful." Oh Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything!
