Job 24:13-17. There are those who rebel against the light. They are not acquainted with its ways and they do not stay in its paths. Murderers and adulters seek the darkness to hide their ways. "For deep darkness is mourning to all of them; for they are friends with the terrors of deep darkness."

Seek the light, even when it means exposing your wrongdoing. This is the only path to help and healing. When we step into the light, we can see our own sinfulness - we are allowing ourselves the freedom to no longer hide it. That is the first step to repentance and to asking for forgiveness - which will be freely and wonderfully given by our merciful God.
