Acts 1:10-11. As the disciples are gazing up after the ascended Jesus, two men in white robes appear standing by them. These men ask "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus who was taken up from you into heaven will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven."

I often find myself gazing into heaven, looking for Jesus. Not literally, but I sit and I think, and I pray, and what I'm really doing is looking for Him to show up and do something. I have to remember that that is not how any of this works! The angels might as well be saying to me - "He will come back when He comes back, and you'll see it, you won't need to be looking for it." In the meantime, there are things he wants me to do besides staring into heaven!
