Isaiah 14:21 "Prepare slaughter for his sons because of the guilt of their fathers, lest they rise and possess the earth, and fill the face of the world with cities."

 

Remember yesterday when I said sometimes when God is doing something big His ways look confusing and often terrifying? This is one of those times!

 

When evil has taken such hold of a family, including the human family, that the risk to the rest of the world is too great, God will stop it in its tracks. This may be through slaughter at the hands of someone else, or it may be through some other means of destruction or downfall.

 

Whatever the way it happens, this will look disastrous, and many will wonder why an all-loving God allowed it to happen. But it is out of love that He does. He will never let evil become so strong that it dooms humanity. He loves us too much to let that happen.
