1 Timothy 2:1-4. Paul asks for "supplications, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings"  for all "kings and all who are in high positions." This is good not only so that the people will have peaceful lives, but also because God "desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."

Lately I've been praying for Putin, Xi, Trudeau, and all world leaders for this very reason. We will not have peace and freedom unless our leaders are committed to it themselves for all people. But I am also praying for their conversion, because how wonderful would it be if all leaders came to know God and the Truth? What if Putin had a profound conversion? What if Xi did? What a better world it would be!
