Ezra 6:19 "On the fourteenth day of the first month the returned exiles kept the passover."

 

What an incredible Passover that must have been! How joyful they all must have felt ("And they kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy; for the Lord had made them joyful")! (Ezra 6:22))

 

 Some years ago, I wrote that it felt like we were heading into exile, one we could do from home. It now feels like we are there, to me at least. At some point, though, this exile will end. I can't wait for the feeling of joy and relief that will come when it does. I don't know how or when it will happen, but I know that God always rescues His people. 

 

I so look forward to celebrating holy days, especially Easter, after this exile, I can only imagine how joyful they will be!
