Lamentations 3:46-48. "All our enemies rail against us; panic and pitfall have come upon us, devastation and destruction; my eyes flow with rivers of tears because of the destruction of the daughter of my people."

What if it is not just your enemies railing against you, but also your friends, even your family? I feel that that is where many of us are individually, and also where we are as a nation - the destruction is mainly coming from within. Yet, my eyes do not flow with tears (although they have, to be sure, many times over the last three years). In the midst of this panic and pitfall, I turned to God, I relied on Him more than ever before (what choice did I have?), and He answered me. He gives me daily consolations and I am filled with hope. Something wonderful will follow all of this, of this I am certain.
