Psalm 102:28 "The children of thy servants shall dwell secure, their posterity shall be established before them."

 

This is what I want. The turmoil the world is in is not what I want for my children, I want them to dwell securely with their posterity established before God. Right now, our children do not have anywhere close to the same security nor opportunities that my generation did. They have a hard time getting good paying jobs, buying houses, or affording practically anything. They are subsidizing the elderly's sky high healthcare costs and retirements, while they themselves are unable to get a foothold. We have not treated our children well, we have not built a society concerned for their future. I can see why communism/socialism might seem attractive to them, but that is a false god that they do not have the wisdom to recognize.

 

God is calling our children to Himself. The crosses of their lives, if accepted with grace, will bring them back to Him. Then, with Him, they will build a world that dwells in security with their posterity established. The will do a much better job than we did, thanks goodness.
