Isaiah 62:5 "... as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you."

 

Isaiah is speaking to Jerusalem, but this applies to each of us as well. And just think about that - it's incredible! God, our Creator, rejoices over us as a bridegroom over his bride. He loves and wants us so much, you, me, everybody! He is overjoyed in us!

 

I saw this post on X yesterday and was reminded of it when I read this. 

 

 

God the Lover pursues us knowing our weak love, knowing we will break His heart, knowing we will chose another over Him.
He loves us knowing that we tend to love Him for what He does and gives, but rarely for Who He Is.
He loves us knowing that the moment He heals us and rebuilds…
