Isaiah 60:17-18. God describes, through Isaiah, what Jerusalem will be like when he rebuilds it. He will use gold in place of bronze, silver for iron, bronze for wood, and iron for stones. Jerusalem's overseers and taskmasters will be peace and righteousness. Violence will be gone from the land, there will be no devastation or destruction within her borders. Her walls will be called Salvation, and her gates Peace.

This is part of a much longer description of what the return from exile will be like for the Israelites. It is so beautiful and strong. Our God loves us so. He lets us be led away by our enemies only after trying to warn us of the danger. But even then, he immediately begins planning our return. And while we are gone, he can build us such a beautiful, righteous, and strong city to which to return - a city undefiled by our evil ways.

Everything he does and allows is good and perfect.
