Haggai 1:14 "And the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, Governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua of the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and worked on the house of the Lord of hosts, their God".

When God wants to get something done, He knows just how to do it! He stirs up the spirit of those He knows will be willing to help Him, and they get to work! But the time has to be right. God waits until our hearts are not so hardened, and enough people are ready to hear and respond, before He stirs us up. Even if it had been possible, there would have been no point in stirring up people to rebuild the Temple immediately after its destruction. The people had not appreciated it properly, which was one of the reasons for its destruction. Now, though, the people are returning from exile. God gave them time to rebuild their homes, and now the time is now right for Him to stir up their spirits to rebuild His Temple, and so they do. Note, though, that this is not always a gentle process. Even with the returning exiles, God had to threaten a drought before Zerubbabel got the message to begin the rebuilding. (Haggai 1:9-11

In In Sinu Jesu, Jesus told the monk to whom he was speaking that He was beginning the process of renewing His priesthood and through them His Church. These messages were given between the years 2007-2016. I think God has once again determined it is time to stir up the spirit of His people and rebuild His Church and I, for one, am here for it.
