Revelation 11:12 "Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, 'Come up hither! ' And in the sight of their foes they went up to heaven in a cloud.'"
The ones ascending to heaven are the two prophets who will be raised up during the second woe of Revelation. They will give their testimony and then be killed by the beast, but after three and a half days they will be raised up from the dead and called to heaven. (Revelation 11:7-12)
"Come up hither!" have to be the most wonderful words anyone could ever hear (along with "Well done, my good and faithful servant"). Hearing those words should be what we live for, hearing them will be the only thing that matters in the end. No matter how much of a struggle we go through here, even to the point of seeming to lose everything, even possibly our lives, these words will signal the culmination of it all, the reward that has been gained for us opening before us for eternity.
So keep fighting the good fight, no matter what. No matter how difficult, keep going in Christ until you hear "Come up hither!" Then it will have been all worth it.
