Isaiah 44:2-3. "Fear not, O Jacob my servant ... For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your descendants, and my blessing on your offspring."

 

I spend a good part of my prayer time each morning praying for my family, and especially for my children. As in so many other families, my children have stopped practicing the faith, and even sometimes seem a bit antagonistic towards it. It worries me greatly. This morning, after praying for them, I was feeling particularly sad and I told God that. Then He gave me this for my daily Bible verse! He is so good!

 

I will fear not. I will trust Him. I will keep praying, but with confidence that He will pour his blessing and His Spirit on each of my children and every member of my family when the time is right.
