Jeremiah 6:9. "Glean thoroughly as a vine the remnant of Israel; like a grape-gatherer pass your hand again over its branches."

When we get impatient with God (or is that just me?:) for letting all of this misery and injustice continue for so long, this is a good verse to remember. There are some who will be with Him, but were not "ripe" at the beginning of all of this. For that matter, there were many who saw the signs of the times long before I did, and I thank God that He gave me time to "wake up" or "ripen." Yes, there are also some who will not ripen in time, but hopefully they are few in number. God wants us all to ripen and is giving us time to do so. 

Meanwhile, I must change my impatience to joy that with every pass of His hand over the vine, newly ripened grapes are being harvested, newly converted souls are being saved, and souls that were languishing are being reawakened.
