Judith 16:15 "For the mountains shall be shaken to their foundations with the waters; at thy presence the rocks shall melt like wax, but to those who fear thee thou wilt continue to show mercy."
When we are with God we truly have nothing to fear. I know "fear" is used here as the thing we should be doing - fearing the Lord - but that is in the sense of knowing Him for who He is, and respecting His mighty power, not "fear" the way we would feel it when the mountains are being shaken and the rocks melting like wax.
If we fear the Lord, truly love Him and know that He uses His might only for good, we won't fear anything. We will know that as the mountains shake and the waters rise, God's will is being done, and His will is all good. We know that He will show mercy to His faithful ones, and that mercy will see us through all struggles. It might not look like what we expect, but it will be there, and nothing can truly harm us when we have that.
