Corinthians 3:11 "For if what faded away came with splendor, what is permanent must have much more splendor."

Paul is comparing the splendor of the "dispensation of death" (the Old Covenant, the Ten Commandments and God's law as delivered by Moses) with the "dispensation of righteousness" (the New Covenant made with us by Jesus Christ and sealed with His death). When Moses delivered the Ten Commandments, laws that reminded the people they were disordered before God and subject to death, his face shone with such glory that the people could not look upon him. He was reflecting the splendor of God, with whom he had just been speaking. If that was the case for the Old Covenant, how much more splendor accompanies the eternal New Covenant, delivered to us by God Himself, having come to us as one of us?

This is true for everything! This world is so beautiful, yet it is passing away to be replaced by something so much better we cannot even imagine it! This life can be so wonderful, yet we are destined to pass from it and, hopefully, have an eternal life that will far eclipse even our greatest days on earth. So no matter how difficult the day, or how dark the night, all of creation reflects the glory that is to come, just as Moses' face reflected the glory of God who would eventually come to save his people.
