Judges 5:12-13 "Awake, awake Deborah! Awake, awake, utter a song! Arise, Barak, lead away your captives, O son of Abinoam. Then down marched the remnant of the noble; the people of the Lord marched down for him against the mighty."

In the "Prayer for Manifestation of the Divine Will", one of the Precious Blood Mystical Prayers, Jesus says, "When I entered Gethsemane, I looked at my people and saw that they were asleep while their enemy was fast approaching and gaining ground".

We have all been Peter, James, and John, asleep while the enemy approaches, unaware of the danger that is coming, but God wants us all to wake up and join the battle. He is calling to us to awake and arise! When I finally let Him wake me, I saw how much ground the enemy had gained while I had been asleep. It is terrifying! So terrifying, in fact, that there was the temptation to go back to sleep, to believe the lies, or at least tolerate them, and not engage in the battle. It is like waking up from sleepwalking and realizing you have just missed stepping into an abyss, but then realizing the abyss is expanding, the ground giving way all around you, and it seems there is no escape.

But we will not be swallowed by the abyss, we have already been saved from it. God will lead us on the path that skirts it. Meanwhile, He will halt its expansion and eventually fill it completely, burying the abyss, if you like, relegating it back to the underground where it belongs. So don't be afraid to awake and arise! God is calling us to, He needs every one of us in the battle. We are the remnant who will march for Him against the mighty.
