Psalm 125:5 "But those who turn aside upon their crooked ways the Lord will lead away with evildoers! Peace be in Israel!"
Beware of those "crooked ways", they don't always look so crooked, at least in the beginning. In temptation, especially when our passions are high, we can so easily turn away from our upright hearts and pursue the crooked way, the way that looks like it will give us relief or pleasure.
The Psalm warns us that stepping onto this crooked way will lead us to being led away with the evildoers, so the crooked way is the path to evil. If we find ourselves on it, we must repent and turn back. The further we have gone on it, the more crooked it will appear when we turn around. We often are unable to see where we started from. The way back will be difficult, but God will meet us as soon as we turn, and lead us back, if we let Him.
