Psalm 114:3-4. "The sea looked and fled, Jordan turned back. The mountains skipped like Rams, the hills like lambs."

This this is describing how the Lord made way for the Israelites as He led them into the promised Land. But note that it is not described as though God turned the Jordan aside nor moved mountains, it is instead described as if nature itself saw it's Creator and responded.

As poetic as this is, there is a note of truth here. All of creation really does respond to its Creator. We do not understand how rivers and mountains commune with Him, but in some way, they truly do. It is so amazing! Everything is so much deeper and more meaningful than it appears, and that makes the world so exciting!
