1 Timothy 6:2 "Those [Christian slaves] who have believing masters must not be disrespectful on the ground that they are brethren; rather they must serve all the better since those who benefit by their service are believers and beloved. Teach and urge these duties."

If we find ourselves in an situation that is unjust because the ways of the world are unjust, we mustn't abandon right Christian behavior due to the injustice. (In fact, we should never abandon right Christian behavior, no matter what is going on.) We must treat everyone with Christian love, slaves even owe this duty to their masters, as Paul says in 1 Timothy 6:1. If others happen to have power over us in these unjust situations, but are also Christians, this does not condone our treating them with disrespect, thinking they should know better, it actually increases our duty to behave well.

This world will always have injustice. There will always be the oppressors and the oppressed. Sometimes both find themselves in these roles because of the way the world is, not because it is something they would choose. The way to change the world, or allow God to change it, and save the souls of both the oppressors and the oppressed, along with the souls of many others who are operating under the same system, is to commit completely to Christianity, to act justly even in unjust situations, and patiently wait as God continues to work.

God sees all the injustice in the world, He hears the cry of the poor, the widow, the enslaved, the imprisoned, and will eventually right all injustice in His own way, which is always the best way. If we act as His obedient servants, loving our neighbors and our "masters" even in the face of injustice, we will be helping His change to come more quickly.
